Surveytime is deliberately simple: complete a matched survey and the public site promises a US$1 reward. There are no points to convert and no game offers to distract from the job. That simplicity is useful if you only want surveys. It also means the only question that matters is whether Surveytime can consistently find studies that fit your profile. A US$1 completion is fine for a short, well-targeted survey. It is not a good rate for a long screener or a study that repeatedly sends you in circles.

What you are paid for

Surveytime matches studies to the answers in your introductory profile. The company’s current public pages say a successfully completed survey is rewarded with US$1, whether it takes five minutes or longer. The important word is completed. Being invited, answering screening questions or reaching a quota does not guarantee a reward. Surveytime’s FAQ says that an unsuccessful completion is not paid, though other surveys may be offered afterward.

That makes honest profiling essential. Fill in age, work, household and interests once, then answer surveys naturally. Do not change your details to chase a demographic. Surveys compare answers across the screener and questionnaire, and inconsistent responses can cause a screenout or quality failure. If you are screened out early, move on. Do not spend another twenty minutes trying to force a study that has already decided you are not the target respondent.

Notifications help, but they do not reserve a place

Surveytime can notify you by email, SMS or browser notification. Pick the channel you will actually notice and leave the rest off if you prefer a quieter inbox. A notification only means a study was available when the system sent it. Market-research quotas can fill quickly, so a survey may be gone when you open the link. The platform is worldwide, but it also says that there will be periods when no suitable survey is available. That is normal for a matching service, especially in smaller markets.

Most surveys take around 10 to 15 minutes, with some taking longer. The flat US$1 model makes short surveys the better deal. Before you begin, look for the estimated time and make sure you can finish without interruptions. Do not open a survey on a shared device, use a VPN or create multiple accounts. Those habits can break matching and make reward verification harder.

Reward credit, cash-out and the US$5 detail

The current site says each successful completion is rewarded immediately. Its English home page and FAQ also state that you can cash out after accumulating US$5. The Spanish and Portuguese marketing pages still describe no withdrawal minimum. The useful way to read this is simple: US$1 is the advertised completion reward, while the reward choices and cash-out flow presented in your own logged-in account are the rules to follow. Check that screen before you build a balance for a specific method.

Available options change by country. Surveytime’s FAQ gives U.S. examples including PayPal, Amazon, Target and Decathlon. The public site also lists gift cards and Bitcoin through the Lightning Network. For Lightning, you need a compatible wallet and must choose one of its supported payment formats, such as an LNURL, Lightning Invoice or Lightning Address. After choosing a reward, follow the confirmation email. Email verification is part of the delivery process, and some reward codes can also require phone verification.

There is one clear extra. Cash-outs of US$10 or more receive a US$0.50 rebate bonus back into the Surveytime wallet for a future cash-out. Treat it as a small top-up, not a reason to ignore a useful US$5 redemption. A PayPal or gift-card option can have its own delivery steps. Verify the destination before confirming.

Referral talk without made-up numbers

Surveytime has an Ambassador programme for creators and publishers, but the current public member FAQ does not publish a standard referral reward for ordinary users. Do not share an old US$1-per-friend claim as if it were a current promise. If an Invite or referral card appears inside your account, read the live terms on that card before sharing it. A programme visible to one region or selected ambassador is not automatically available to every member.

A clean way to test it

  • Complete the profile once with accurate information.
  • Choose email or browser notifications and check them promptly.
  • Only begin when you have enough uninterrupted time.
  • Keep the survey date and any completion screen if a reward is missing.
  • Check the live reward options after the first completed survey.
  • Use a small first cash-out to confirm the email and payment route.

Bottom line

Surveytime is worth testing if you like a flat US$1 reward and do not need a long menu of games or offers. Its strength is clarity after a genuine completion. Its limit is survey matching. Keep the profile real, be strict about time, confirm the payment option in your own account and stop using it if the invitations you receive do not justify the effort.
